Firstly, try to remember that one who lives for the truth must always keep an open mind and think clearly. It's always easier, and thus tempting, to get caught up in "group-think"; a group you "relate" to has one viewpoint, therefore you believe it must be your view as well. This group-think has always been the downfall of humanity, as sadistic leaders have always been able to take advantage of it to manipulate the masses. Unfortunately, with advances in science & thought, this manipulation has only become easier to accomplish. In a world where the youth (in particular) grow up on TV, internet, and chemical poisoning (junk food, etc.), the brain is mushed into apathy, which leads to an inner, desperate need for a sense of purpose. Taking advantage of this, the "powers-that-be" presented their puppet Obama: the perfect leader of hope and change the masses could latch onto AS their sense of purpose. Anyone with half a brain has seen the only "change" has been to make things even worse, and the only hope is for those with all the power and money.
As people slowly woke up to seeing Obama for what he really is, they started working their dormant minds and expressing dissent, thus becoming a problem for those who'd prefer us stay sheep. With Obama mostly used up they needed another patsy, another glorified leader to distract and misdirect the masses (especially the mostly young/liberal crowd of the internet). Enter WikiLeaks and Julian Assange.
Now wait: I'm not against free speech or whistleblowers - quite the contrary in fact - but one must always question the validity of information. Question everything. So take a deep breath and set your emotions aside for a moment. Let's ask some simple questions to help pry open your mind:
- Isn't it strange how quickly WikiLeaks became so popular, spread like wildfire across the media owned by the very corporations that would be against the truth coming out?
- Why has the US, who has always been able to "disappear" those they wish to dispose of so readily, allowed Assange to live in luxury while an indefinite "investigation" goes on, while Bradley Manning has from day one been confined to a cell (also without trial)?
- If he was really so dangerous to Western governments, why is Assange allowed to speak freely, yet no one is even allowed inside to talk to Manning?
- Why has WikiLeaks constantly gone after the enemies of the West (Russia, China, Iran, Syria, etc.) whilst revealing practically nothing of substance [that wasn't already widely known] regarding allies of the West?
- Why has Assange come out and said he didn't want to leak anything to damage Israel, one of the most on-record human-rights abusers? Are truth-seekers supposed to pick and choose?
- Why has Assange vilified those trying to get the truth about 9/11 when, at the very least, there are a thousand unanswered questions regarding the incident?
- Why would WikiLeaks come out with "information" supporting the American government's assertion that Iraq had WMDs when EVERYONE now knows that to be a huge lie?
- Why does just about everything WikiLeaks & Assange say/leak happen to fall in line with the propaganda of the West?
- Possibly the biggest question: why, when Assange himself has attacked the mainstream media, does WikiLeaks let the very same corporately-owned media PICK & CHOOSE WHAT TO REPORT TO THE WORLD, thus allowing obvious censorship?
I'm sure Assange is likely innocent of the rape allegations that were thrown on him, but as touched on previously, the Western "powers-that-be" aren't trying very hard to silence him. They let him speak freely, even regularly appear on TV, whilst sitting in a comfy mansion of a British man whose connections with British intelligence is in question. Cries of "Free Assange, he's innocent!" permeate every outlet of media, thus helping to glorify Assange, grooming him as the martyr of truth and freedom.
Whilst Bradley Manning, on the other hand, doesn't see the light of day. Without trial. True, there are many who call for his freedom too, but these calls tend to get lost in the cacophony of voices exalting and genuflecting for their leader Assange.
Of course the CIA (and others assigned to control the flow of information/disinformation) wouldn't rely solely on WikiLeaks to shape public opinion. Remember how it came out that Sabu, leader of LulzSec, was working with the FBI? LulzSec merged into Anonymous, which merged with WikiLeaks. Though I believe the Occupy and perhaps Anonymous movements started out legitimately by people with true concern for the world, it has been infiltrated to the core, with accounts like @YourAnonNews and others who magically get a million followers overnight, spouting pro-NATO propaganda, constantly attacking the West's enemies, with only the occasional sprinkle of cries of concern for legit problems like bringing down the Fed (and those sprinkles usually late, watered down, or focused on less urgent/important issues). Same with WikiLeaks who has mainly gone after Russia, China, Syria, and Iran, all enemies of the West, while more or less offering no real revelations about any Western ally.
On that same note, remember when LulzSec (especially Sabu) constantly refused to release "hacked" information until they had gone through and censored the information "for the safety of others"? WikiLeaks has also used this as their excuse. Then it comes out that WikiLeaks has, and continues to, give all their information to the corporate media to censor and publish, who send it to the CIA/FBI to censor as well! Does this sound like something truth-seekers and whistleblowers, whose only concern is freedom of information and exposing dangerous secrets, would do?
